Taniti is served by a small airport that can accommodate small jets and propeller planes. Most visitors arrive via connecting flights from larger regional airports.

Multiple transportation options to explore Taniti
Taniti's public bus system connects major areas of the island and is an affordable way to get around.
Note: Bus service is limited in the evenings. Plan accordingly!
Private taxis are available throughout the island for convenient door-to-door service.
For maximum flexibility, rent a car and explore the island at your own pace.
Taniti's flat coastal areas are perfect for cycling. Bike rentals are available for eco-friendly exploration.
Many areas of Taniti are very walkable, especially Taniti City and the beach areas.
Airport Transfers: Most hotels offer airport pickup. Book in advance!
Fuel: Gas stations are limited outside Taniti City. Fill up before exploring remote areas.
Rush Hour: Traffic can be heavy in Taniti City during morning and evening hours. Allow extra time.
